Welcome to NBT & NVC College, Narasaraopet. The College named after Sri Nandamuri Basava Tarakam, the better half of Late Sri Nandamuri N.T. Rama Rao the Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and in the name of famous Educationalist Late Sri Nallapati Venkateswarlu Chowdary. He was an Advocate Professionally and he worked as MLC, Zillaparishad Chairman for Guntur District (formerly Guntur & Prakasam). As an Advocate he has done his job very well in building up the society.
The College has modern campus spread in 4 acres with imposing buildings surrounded by green plants. It was situated in Palnadu road, the heart of Narasaraopet town. The College founded to impart quality, vocational and scientific education to rural wards on par with urban students under the jurisdiction of Acharya Nagarjuna University. The College educates 1200 to 1300 students every year in Degree College level when there was dearth of student strength in other colleges. It was doing its best to achieve its goals by providing service to Palnadu and neighbouring areas since 1984.
The College started its NSS Unit in 1986 with the increase of student strength and NCC came into existence in 1999 and alsoNCC Army Wing for senior division boys in 1999 and girls in 2002. Many ‘C’ certificate cadets rolled out from this alma mater. It is the only college in the town to enroll girls in NCC wings.
Every department in the college is robust with separate laboratory facility, and the Computer Lab contains Internet facility to put the students one step ahead in now-a-days competition.
